Day 1

Welcome to Magdeburg

Transfer to Magdeburg

Day 2

Opening Ceremony

Hello, OVGU! After the opening ceremony, we will take a walk through the Otto von Guericke University and get to know the different faculties and the campus.

Day 3

Particle Journey

Explore the secrets of particles, uncover the secret of fluidized bed technology! On the last day of the camp, the students embark on a journey into the mysterious world of particle technology at the Institute for Process and Systems Engineering at the Otto von Guericke University.

Day4

Jahrtausendturm Magdeburg-The Millennium Tower

This tower has everything: from hand axes to X-ray telescopes, from cave paintings to computer tomography - everything that has moved humanity technically over the last 6,000 years comes to life here.

Day 5

STIMULATE

Research Center

The base is being founded jointly by the Otto von Guericke University, Siemens Healthineers and the STIMULATE association. The aim is to develop new, high-quality and specifically needed diagnostic and treatment procedures for social diseases such as oncology, neurology and cardiology.

Day 6

Elbedome Virtual and Real Experiment Laboratory

The Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation (IFF), based in Magdeburg, focuses on the development of technologies and solutions for entry into the digital, networked and intelligent world of work.

Day 7

Exploring Autostadt - Wolfsburg

This is a world of automobiles. The Autostadt is not only a communication platform for the Volkswagen Group headquarters, but also an exciting and diverse place of discovery.

Day 8

Traveling in Wernigerode

Wernigerode is a recognized resort in the Harz region, also known as the colorful town on the Harz. The Harz region stands for mythology, legends and fairy tales.

Day 9

Dive into the World Robotics Challenge

The World Robotics Olympiad was launched in 2004 with the aim of bringing young people together to promote their creativity and problem-solving skills. Students of the Mathematics Engineering program at Otto von Guericke University have already attended it several times.

Day 10

OVGU Formula Student Racing Club

Formula Student is an international student design competition based on the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

Day 11

The Production of Vaccines or for Gene and Cancer Therapies – How Is It Done?

Viruses are needed to produce vaccines or develop modern gene and cancer therapies. But how can these products be produced in sufficient quantities and of high quality so that we can all afford vaccinations and treatments?

Day 12

Transfer and Entrepreneur Center

The TUGZ at OVGU Magdeburg is the Transfer and Start-up Center that promotes innovation and cooperation between academia and industry.

Day 13

Closing Ceremony

After completing the Particle Journey at the Institute for Process and System Control, the final event takes place. At the final event, the students receive a summer camp certificate.

Day 14

Berlin Free Tour - Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing Tours in Berlin

This summer we can explore the city of Berlin on an open-top double-decker bus. Within 24 hours we can explore the city freely, getting on and off at several stops along the way.
