Hosting the first international congress in Magdeburg: The core topic was pioneering gender-sensitive medicine.

Start of German courses for international students: development of the core offering for language integration.

International Summer Academy: Successful implementation of the first summer school for Chinese guest students.

Second International Summer School: Intensive introduction to research, university, and culture for Chinese students.

Start of the first Indian Winter School: We are intensifying the exchange with Indian students and celebrating Magdeburg's largest student community.

Our mission is to sustainably strengthen and advance the University of Magdeburg, both nationally and internationally. We achieve this through rapid, practice-oriented project implementation in the areas of research, teaching, continuing education, internationalization, and technology transfer.

Our vision is to make knowledge and innovation available for future generations. We want to create a world in which new technologies generate prosperity, promote health, and ensure sustainability.
